In the end, they officially credited the goal to the Leipzig midfielder.
The second part of the match was less meaningful. France threatened dangerously with the headers of Aurelien Tchouameni and Dayot Upamekano, but they were not of sufficient quality to finish behind the goalkeeper of Athletic Bilbao.
