Atletico Madrid star Morata has decided to join Milan this summer, so he will meet the club’s directors later this week before undergoing a medical.
The Spanish representative has a clause of 13 million euros in his contract. This means that Milan have two options: to pay the full amount or to negotiate a transfer with his club, Atletico Madrid, in order to pay a slightly higher fee in several installments.
Milan directors will fly to Madrid on Wednesday or Thursday to finalize the deal with the former Juventus star.
Milan adviser Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly promised that Milan will meet Morata’s salary demands. The Serie A giants also want Morata to pass a medical before the break and expect to complete the transfer this week.
